I am looking into buying a new graphics card for over christmas and was wondering whether this pulls its weight in the higher end games in terms of its price tag too.
I'm looking in the general direction of cod4-cod5-cod6 and games released 1-2 years from now, will it be able to play at a relatively good level JUST looking at graphics, i know the rest of my computer is suited for the years to come.|||CoD6 runs like a dream of 9800GT's, a G210 will have no trouble.|||For the amount of money you're looking to spend on that card, I would compare it to the ATI Radeons that are the same price. ATI cards are cheaper for the performance you get out of them than the Nvidia cards are. Nvidia is extremely overpriced for what you're getting. Do a little research on the cards in your price range from Nvidia and ATI and I think you might just change your mind on what brand you want to go with. And if you're thinking of getting Nvidia because of what it does when you load certain games, such as, "Nvidia... the way games are meant to be played". That is nothing more than a marketing scheme. Good luck in choosing your new card.|||GeForce GT 210 is a low-end entry level card. Higher quality graphics settings will result in a lower frame per second rate. It does meet the minimum requirements to play most all of PC games.
