Is my graphic card good enough to run Need For Speed Shift?
Name: NVIDIA GeForce G210
Manufacturer:NVIDIA
Chip type: GeForce G210
DAC Type: Integrated RAMDAC
Total Memory: 4079 MB
Current Display Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60hz)
if not, what other good quality racing games can i play?|||You may be able to play it on absolute lowest settings.
You won't be able to play any games well. The GT210 is roughly equivalent to a 9400GT.|||yeah sure actually nfs shift is a very lee demanding games.
I have 9400GT (but overclocked) and it ran flawlessly at full settings and 1024 x 1028

ATI Radeon HD 4650 or NVIDIA GeForce G210?
Which is the better graphics card for gaming and multimedia purposes?|||Without a doubt the HD 4650 is 3 or 4 times better than the G210.

Need to know if my motherboard GA-M61SME-S2 is compatible with Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce g210 1024 MB?
It is compatible, but try to save up a little more money for a better graphics card. A 210 is barely good enough for a home theater system.|||According to the support list for graphics cards, no.
The board looks pretty poor tbh, why would you spend money on it in todays day and age? The board maxes at PCIe x8. That means you need an 7900 GTX or a 8800 GTX according to
http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Gra…
Best bet for compatibility with 210 GeForce card is to go with a skt 775 system of skt 1155 Depending on if you want dual core or i5/i7. skt 775 for dual core. skt 1155 for i5/i7.

Is NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 better than NVIDIA GeForce G210?
I am mostly looking to be able to play the sims 3 on all high settings, and to get a great looking picture.
Here are the links

NVIDIA GeForce G210 (1gb)

processor: AMD Athlon II 240 dual-core processor 2.8GHz

Oh, and also might this card be good for the sims 3
ATI Radeon HD 4350 (512mb)
http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/g…
I really don't want to have to get too much that I won't need it but yet get really nice graphics from it without breaking the bank. I might also be playing the sims 2 if I don't get sims 3 if that helps at all.
Thanks!|||Yes, the GT 220 is substantially faster than the 210. The 220 is fine for playing Sims 3. It's underpowered for serious 3D gaming, though.
The Radeon 4350 is roughly equal to the G210 in graphic power. Neither card is meant for gaming, but they do HD video well.|||I would go with the ATi myself, but the GeForce 220 would fare well too, I've just found ATi to be better value in my experience.|||I would go with the ATI radeon if those are your choices, the geforce 210 and 220 barely register as gaming cards.

HP Desktop - NVIDIA GeForce G210 crashing...?
I've had a HP Pavilion p6217uk running Windows 7 (64 bit) for about 2 years, however in the last 3-4 months I've been having issues with the graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce G210). It will either stop working and come up with the following error message (link to screenshot below) or it'll crash the computer completely and I'll have to force a shut down.
It tends to happen when I'm either playing a game or if I'm watching a video and using Firefox at the same time. It started off being quite an occasional problem but it's progressed to happening pretty much every day (sometimes even when I turn it on and leave it for 10 minutes). It got a little better when there was an automatic update a few months ago but it's steadily declined.
My question is firstly whether or not there's anything I can do to fix the problem (I've tried looking for any updated drivers but haven't been able to find anything) or whether I should replace the graphics card. If I do replace it, what do you think would be best to replace it with?
Thanks!|||Replace it. Whats your PSU and case? Can it fit 9-11" GPU? Is your PSU more than 500W? I'd recommend NVIDIA GTX 560 (Ti)/AMD Radeon HD 6950 if you are not that serious gamer.|||Vid card chart

NVIDIA Geforce G210 problem?
I Just bought A New graphic Card Nvidia Geforce G210 1 Day Ago But When i installed The Graphic Card All my Graphics Were Messed Up Can Anybody give me Solution to This problem i have installed Graphic Card driver too but still The Problem Exist|||A common mistake that a lot of people make is that they forget that after installing a graphics card they need to connect their monitor to the card and not the systems I/O panel where it was previously connected. Just thought I'd mention that.
If that isn't the case, you may need to go to Control Panel>Device Manager click on the + next to Display Adapters and from the list, select your systems integrated graphics device, right click on it and select Disable, NOT UNINSTALL....you may need your on-board graphics again if the card fails.

I want to upgrade My Graphics Card but which ones can i have?
I currently have a G210 g-card and I have a m2n68-la Mother Board with a 300w power supply and was wondering what cards can it hold.
i am going to be buying a 700W Power Supply Unit so i can buy a more powerful graphics card.|||With a 700W power supply and that motherboard, you can put any modern PCI-Express video card THAT WILL FIT into your computer. Slim towers restrict you to low profile cards, and some of the most powerful video cards are so long they may not fit into your case.
Other than that, your choice is only limited by what you can afford. If you're not a hardcore gamer, the GeForce 9800 GT series or the Radeon HD 4850 series are quite nicely priced around $100 and can run pretty much any game (the most demanding might need lower video settings, though)|||Your motherboard supports graphics cards which are built to fit in a PCI Express x16 slot.|||The motherboard you have can support One PCI Express x16 graphics card. 700w power supply will be needed if you buy a high end graphics card. Even a low end card might run with the 300w power supply.

Is a Geforce G210 Rubbish?
I just purchased an average computer last year and I don't want to buy the top end computer parts, just something cheap and good but I want to play the game "The witcher 2" on minimum graphics without 5 FPS. also when I checked if my computer meets the requirements, the site said I might need more than 2.8 GHz. I Have: 4.0 GB -pass

I Have: GeForce G210 -pass
Minimum: 8 GB for game and 8 GB bonus content
I Have: 769.3 GB -pass|||is it rubbish? no not really; though for gaming purposes it is probably best described as average.
The game site is probably not reporting your hardware correctly, possibly seeing two cores (hence the two lists for the processor) and ignoring the others as the game is not going to use them. Like most multi core processors if it is not needed the CPU throttles back on the other cores to save power, and this is maybe why the site gave you the caution "!" sign because the second core was not really working hard.
As to cards to buy, depends how much money you want to throw at it but the best gaming card at the moment for the money versus performance is the NVidia GTX560Ti though it is not cheap and may need you to change your PSU if it is not powerful enough.
I would suggest one of the GTX450 or 460 is perhaps the more budget concious choice, good enough for most games and wont break the bank.|||The G2(X) series of cards are nvida's prior generation, bottom of the line.

NVIDIA GeForce G210 512MB MXM graphics card?
Hello Everyone,
I have an HP Touchsmart computer and I am looking to upgrade from the stupid Intel HD graphics card. I contacted HP and they said that the NVIDIA GeForce G210 512MB MXM graphics card would fit into my expansion slot.
I was wondering if anyone knew if they was a goo graphics card.
Thanks.|||Sub par. Low. According to a review on Amazon.com for that card (which that NVidia website directs you to for one of the only two sellers) someone said it was good for "light" gaming. So... I wouldn't expect too much out of it graphics wise. Maybe play some games on low-settings? But again, don't expect too much out of it!

Will a silent g210 graphics card work in a compaq presario sr1915an?
coz when i turn the comp on with monitor plugged into the g cards port it says NO SIGANL DETECTED! everythings connected properly. any ideas how to fix??|||Graphics cards are very sensitive to static electricity. If you didn't follow the proper procedure during installation it is possible that you damaged the card even before you started your computer.
Also try to remove the card, power up your computer with video connected via the on-board graphics and enter the BIOS settings. Verify and change the settings (if any) so that PCI is the first option for graphics. Usually for computers with integrated graphics (on-board) you have to first disable those before you install a graphics card.|||Did you plug the monitor cable from the onboard video into the new graphics card? is it a HDMI or DVI ? Change the input source on the monitor to HDMI if that's the case.

Can nvidia G210 be overclock ?
Hi,
You can but generally over clocking a graphics card gives you next to no framerate improvement depending on the game, especially if the card is very low end in the first place. Also many G210s are fanless or have a little tiny fan meaning it would not be good at dissipating the extra heat caused by overclocking. The G210 is only a media card designed for Home Theater PCs, not a gaming pc.
If your pc is a desktop machine, the easiest way to gain performance is to buy a new graphics card. A good card, that won't break the bank balance would the AMD ATI Raedon HD 5670, which can be had for as little as $59.99 or £59.93 and would be way, way better than the G210.

Palit geforce g210 1gb ddr2 vs radeon hd 4350 1 gb ddr2?
hey i wanna know which one of these card better and it is for desktop not laptop and thanks|||I would suggest considering a gt220 - the 512mb cards are dirt cheap (i paid $30 AUD for one) and will handle most things fine - you're not gonna be able to pump huge resolutions or overly high quality textures out of any of these cards anyway so the memory wont likely be much of a limitation. The 220 is a lot more powerful than a 210. the 4350 and the 210 are prob about equivalent performance wise but i'd go with the Nvidia I just find that the drivers are usually more reliable.
Regardless if you can i'd consider a gt220 a 512mb will likely be cheap and adequate - the only limitation is some games at higher resolutions might choke a little if you have limited RAM in your system if this is the case i'd suggest going for a 1gb gt 220 - there'd likely be minimal price difference and the performace gain over a 220 will be substantial.
The following link shows a couple of benchmarks - the 9500 is comparable to a gt220 roughly performance wise (iirc they're basically a rebrand).
http://www.anandtech.com/show/2630/5
The main advantage I see with a gt210 or a 4350 is a passively cooled solution is more likely to be available at a cheap price. If it's for a htpc or if silence is a necessity then this may be the way to go (but personally i'd still go for a more expensive 220 for that kinda setup or a low end ati 6 series card =))|||Refer to this website- www.hwcompare.com

Will the nvidia geforce g210 fit my acer aspire ax1300 im not sure if i should buy it because my tower is smal?
You may need a low profile card or one that has option of being used with a low profile bracket. This card looks like it is low profile compatible, but I don't see a LP bracket included in any of the pictures. You will need to upgrade power supply, because the stock one is only 220W. The nvidia geforce g210 requires minimum 300W power supply. Links show card specs & stock computer specs.|||It would depend on the model of graphics card.
To find out it is simple. Find the exact card and get the dimensions.
Now get a tape measure and measure were you would be putting the card.
If it fits and the slot is correct and the power supply can take it then go for it!|||Yes the card will fit they make them on purpose that way.

WHICH ONE IS BETTER 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530 OR NVDIA GeForce G210 graphics processor unit 256 MB?
hi, Remember that ATI and NVIDIA both are known for their best graphic cards.
More the memory of the graphics card, the more the quality of Display.
Choose any one with same memory and also remember their compatibility with your computer.
I recommend to choose ATI(Higher Memory) from the above.
Thank you.|||I would go for the HD 4350 cuz it has 512mb ram and graphics ram is needed a lot...... even if your GPU is faster, if there isnt enough ram, it doesnt use its full potential.
Its the same with a processor and ram....... if you have a dual core processor with 4gb ram, it will run faster than a quad core with 2gb ram.|||NVDIA GeForce G210 graphics

Will a Nvidia Geforce G210 run Modern Warfare 2?
I am considering purchasing a PC that will come with a Nvidia Geforce G210 graphics card. I wish to buy Modern Warfare 2 on the PC but I would like to know if I could run it on this card. I am not really picky about settings or resolution. I would be willing to run it at 800x600 at medium settings, I would prefer it to be at high settings. I could live without AA and advanced filtering. Would this card be able to handle Modern Warfare 2 at 800x600 on medium-high settings?
Any help is appreciated, thanks!|||Geforce g210 came out as a OEM card for major PC makers. You should be ok though. Here is a link to the card specs. But it looks ok to get mostly med some high settings since it has over 550MHz core clock. 512 DDR2 ram, 16 possessor cores and 64bit interface concerns me but hardly much... The 16 possessor cores and 64 bit will cause some bottlnecking but you should be satisfied for the moment so you can gear up for more powerful card at a later date..
http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_gef…|||I suppose AJ should have been a tad more specific as to what Geforce 9 card of the series, as the higher models easily tackle Crysis with max details at HD resolutions. As usual COD has fairly low hardware expectations in the high Geforce 6 series as a minimum. To be more specific I think the GT 210 come closest to the 9600GT. However this and it's brother card ARE NOT re-branded cards they support API's that the previous generation GPU's do not such as DX 10.1.|||Best bet for any game is to go to http://cyri.systemrequirementslab.com/srtest/|||Probably low settings. MW uses a very well-optimized engine, but the GT 210 is just a rebranded low end Geforce 9 card. Don't expect much out of it.

Geforce g210 graphics?
is the nvidia geforce g210 any good?
can it run call of duty 4 on medium settings?|||I'm assuming you're referring to an OEM mobile video card as the G210 desktop version isn't available for another month so here are the specs and some information about it...
G210M (mobile)
16 Stream Processors
512MB GDDR3
Core Clock: 625Mhz
Shader Clock: 1.5Ghz
GDDR Clock: 1.6Ghz
Bus Width: 64-bit
Bandwidth: 25.6 GB/s
GFLOPs 72
The good news is this video card is from the newest (40nm) G200 series of mobile processors which supports new features such as DirectX 10.1 and extremely low power consumption, however it is at the lowest of it's series...
If this were the desktop equivalent it would have the processing power of an 8400GS and the bus width of an 8500GT putting it just in between the 2 cards. This would be ideal for watching HD Video, Windows acceleration, and very mild gaming - however it would definitely be a set-back for gaming mostly due to monitor size / res.
In a mobile environment however, you most likely have a smaller screen (with lower res.) and might be able to pull off COD4 on medium settings although it would really be stressing the system depending on what other parts are with it (CPU, RAM speed/amount, etc).
Most notebooks these days don't even include a video card, just really crappy on-board Intel Gfx, so there is something to be said about what you have. If you're concerned, you *might* be able to contact the manufacturer and get an upgraded card. Most laptops are pretty much stuck with the video card they came with because of cooling, although some companies do build a core model with enough cooling for different Video / CPU / Ram configurations for different models.
This is assuming it is a mini-PCIe card that can just be replaced. You should be able to find info on the manufacturer's website, or at least by calling them. If it can be upgraded you may want to look into a GT230M - GTS260M cards are anywhere from 240-550% faster than what you currently have for a reasonable price and can be easily found.
If not, I wouldn't be too concerned - it sounds (based on the information I have...) that you have a fairly high-end notebook and should be ok with the built-in monitor, especially if you have a good amount of RAM and faster Core 2 or i7 processor. I wouldn't however plan on connecting it to a high-res desktop monitor for gaming.
Hope this helps!
Write back w/ a model or details and I might be able to help a bit more...
*Note to the first poster - the G210 is NOT AVAILABLE for desktops yet. This will be the first and only 40nm desktop video card ever made until the G300's are available later this year. The G210 is OEM only and will not be available until mid-late October...
Even if we are talking about a desktop the 4670 is a poor choice for the money, for nearly the same price (or lower) you can purchase a GTX260 or ATI 4850, and for literally $10-20 more you can have the 2nd fastest video card ever made...|||Perhaps on lowest settings, since that card is very underpowered. Any other GPU such as Ati 4670 gives much better gaming performance. If you have the card, get a new one. If you are going to buy a PC with that card, either look for a different one or buy a better GPU with it.

I am wondering if this graphics card is pretty good. It is a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce G210 [DVI, HDMI, VGA].?
Ok i was wondering if the 512MB NVIDIA GeForce G210 [DVI, HDMI, VGA] is a pretty good graphics card for some gaming like borderlands on low quality or World Of Warcfraft. Please answer.|||almost everything is great about it, HDMI support, DVI, the company is trustworthy, but 512mb isn't very big, my crappy laptop has a 2gb card, and it lags on world of warcraft. However, if you're planning on playing both of those games on the lowest quality, with 800x600 resolution, with no other applications running on that card, it should run smoothly.|||ok that card isn't the greatest, especially for those games. It could probably handle WoW at a low level, but would struggle with borderlands even at low levels. Also RAM is NOT a constant. There is GDDR-GDDR5 and the higher the number the more effective it is. But the Nvidia 9400gt+ would be a very good choice...|||Nvidia gts 250 1GB works fine for me I haven't had a problems yet everything is set on high just make sure you get a graphics card with dedicated graphics.

I have a GeFore G210 graphics card with 2257mb, why is it still bad then?
the pixel shader version is 4.1 and the Vertex Shader version is 4.1 also?
So why does my graphics card not perform well verses lower video ram cards?
And does my OS affect how well a game will run?|||A video card's power really isn't determined by its ram but more so on other things like the Memory Type, Shaders, and clock speed. Having a lot of Memory on a low end video card is somewhat useless because the card wouldn't have the power to support the high resolutions that GPU Memory can provide in the first place.
That being said your card doesn't have 2257mb of Memory and is most likely closer to 512-1024mb. If you want an accurate assessment of your cards Memory along with other information then forget whatever you were using before and download "GPU-Z"
Also, an operating system has very limited impact on how games run as long as its 64bit, any version of Win7/Vista/XP 64bit should run all the newest games fine but i would definitely recommend Win7.|||Memory isn't everything.
Have a look on here; http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gami…
Based on this your graphics card is equivalent to some mid-range cards from about 7 years ago, hence not being very good.
